Order GeneMedRx

Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) are the 4th leading cause of death, claiming the lives of 100,000 Americans per year, more than twice the number claimed in motor vehicle accidents. Many people install and use safety features in their cars for accident prevention and protection, but how do you protect yourself and your family from ADRs?

GeneMedRx is a safety feature for medication that allows you to make relevant drug safety records readily available to your healthcare providers. Drug interactions are complex and to compound the problem, people often see multiple physicians and fill prescriptions at multiple pharmacies. The only way to get a complete picture that helps medical providers make better, more informed choices about how to treat you and avoid ADRs is to create a single patient record for medication management. That’s where GeneMedRx comes in. Here’s how it works:

  1. Enter prescription, over-the-counter drugs, herbals, food intakes, and chemical exposures. If available, enter DNA Drug Reaction test results that determine your genetic ability to process many medications.

  2. E-mail or print and bring a copy of your drug safety records to your healthcare providers. This analysis gives you and your healthcare providers the tools to better understand the potential risks of your personal medication regimen.

  3. If needed, your healthcare provider can modify dosage or select alternate medication.

Ordering Software

The software is available as an internet subscription for only $23.95 per year ($17.95 for each additional family member) and although DNA testing is highly recommended it is not required to make the program useful in improving the management of your healthcare.
